The Ocean County Library’s 2012 Teen Summer Reading program will focus on two themes, “Owning the Night” and “The Real Jersey Shore”. With the popularity of the Jersey Shore television program, it’s our goal to let people know that Ocean County is more than the gym, tans, bars and laundry facilities. Passport to Adventure at Middletown Public Library

Working on the "One World,Many Stories" and "You Are Here" reading themes last year, we did a Passport to Adventure Day. Kids of all ages attended through young teens. We had kids get a passport (from Oriental Trading) and they had their pictures taken with a Polaroid camera (mini-pics) so they could paste it to their passport inside cover.

Act Like a Kid Day! at Middletown Public Library
